Already planning your escape to Ibiza this summer? If you’re the kind of traveler who loves to prepare in advance but still doesn’t know what to do during your stay, grab a pen and paper: you’re about to discover four of the most impressive coves and beaches of the White Island.
First of all, you should know that many of Ibiza’s most stunning coves are located on the west coast of the island. Thanks to its unique geography, the water here is crystal clear and often compared to the paradisiacal waters of the Caribbean.
Since Ibiza gets incredibly crowded during high season, one of the smartest ways to explore these popular spots is by boat. Forget about searching for a parking space—simply dive straight into the turquoise sea or snorkel right off the deck.
And if you join the Oceanbeat Daytime Catamaran Tour, you’ll get the chance to choose between two fantastic routes, each revealing four of Ibiza’s most breathtaking coves and beaches.
Route 1: Cala Comte – Cala Bassa
Cala Comte is one of the locals’ favorite beaches, and it’s easy to see why. Its sparkling clear waters are perfect for snorkeling or simply enjoying a refreshing swim. The calm blue sea invites you to spend hours floating around, and if you prefer to relax, you can sunbathe directly on Oceanbeat’s boat deck. In high season, the sandy shore is usually packed with towels and sunbathers—so wouldn’t you rather enjoy the view from the boat?
Cala Bassa, just around San Antonio Bay, is another gem with golden sand, turquoise waters, and a beautiful backdrop of Mediterranean trees. Known as one of Ibiza’s most fun beaches, Cala Bassa is full of chiringuitos, snack bars, and lively beach clubs. It’s also one of the best spots on the island to admire the magical Ibiza sunset. And what better way to experience it than from the comfort of Oceanbeat’s catamaran?
Route 2: Cala Salada – Islas Margaritas
When weather conditions require an alternative, Oceanbeat offers a second route that’s just as spectacular.
Cala Salada is a local favorite, especially for boat owners. Unlike Cala Bassa, which is crowded with tourists, Cala Salada feels more authentic and natural. With its crystal-clear waters and rugged cliffs, it’s also a popular spot for cliff diving. This magical place embodies the true spirit and hedonism of Ibiza.
Then there’s Islas Margaritas (Ses Margalides), a hidden treasure made up of two small islets, Es Picatxo and Sa Foradada. Accessible only by sea, this area offers dramatic rock formations, natural caves, hidden tunnels, and water siphons that will leave you speechless. It’s one of Ibiza’s most unique and untouched places, perfect for those looking for something truly special.
An Exclusive Experience
For just €69.00, you can enjoy this unforgettable catamaran adventure—a competitive and unbeatable price in Ibiza. The experience includes swimming, snorkeling, stunning scenery, and the unbeatable Oceanbeat vibes
Seats are limited, so make sure you book your tickets in advance. Don’t miss one of the best summer plans in Ibiza!
With a new season, a new year and a seemingly new and fresh post-covid (that shit better not be coming back) era, like many companies around the world, we have made a few adjustments to what we offer. Don’t worry, we are not talking about more restrictions, but rather the grand entrance of our new party boat.
Let us tell you a little about what you can expect from your next Oceanbeat boat party… This boat is designed exclusively for crazy party events, not for ferrying people from A to B. This boat is all about enjoying the ride from A to B, stretching yourself out on one of the four-poster sunbeds on the deck, just a stone’s throw from the pulse of the DJ booth. Forget rows of plastic seating cluttering the top deck, as many other party boats typically try to get away with, this top deck is covered in dancefloor.
Adjacent is a DJ booth with potent sound system, that sets the tone for the party. Whether you’re directly in the midst of the ecstatic energy of the dancefloor, downstairs, admiring the freshly prepared seafood paella come together, or your hair is treated to an au naturel blow dry in the chill out bow area, you are sure to be tapping your feet or whipping your head to the infectious rhythm.
HINT: be sure to book Gold VIP if you are liking the sound of the four poster beds on the top deck…
To keep things interesting, this year our top deck has a jungle theme, so make sure not to get entangled by the luscious vines adorning the VIP sun beds.
Descending from the top deck, you arrive in the bow of the boat, a prime area scattered with beanbags and low tables in case you to pull out all the stops and add bottle service to the program of the day. Feel free to chill out here, tan in the Balearic sun and gather your energy between bursts of crazy dancing upstairs. If you proceed down the steps to the lower deck, exquisite smells of onions sizzling and paprika-spiced seafood will meet you, reminding you to think of food and not just drink! Our Spanish chef, Ruben, will be diligently at work in front of the biggest paella pan you have ever seen! This is how you cook for 150 people, like an absolute boss!
Cast a glance forward, and you will find the bar. Arguably the most important component of our new boat, this bar boasts a range of cocktails, white, red and cava sangria as well as beer for you to choose from. All chilled and ready to be knocked back by you. Forgot your purse? Don’t worry: everything is included.
Feeling the sun a little too much? You can jump into the azure depths of the secret bay we take you to for the swim stop. Just please don’t jump while the boat is sailing – thanks, that would be great.
Now that your senses have been captured on an imaginary tour of the new Oceanbeat party boat, all that’s left is for you to book that flight to Ibiza and join us before the season ends… We’ve had to call a rain check on 2020 and 2021 - don’t miss out on summer 2022. Is a holiday in Ibiza on your cards for 2019? If so, listen closely: we’re gonna explain to you why you need to start planning NOW!
1. Availability Guaranteed
Ibiza runs on seasons, and when high season hits, it hits hard. Hotels, events, and activities get booked out fast—whether it’s you booking them or not. Planning early is the only way to make sure you secure your first choice.
2. Choosing the Right Time
Ibiza is famous for its endless summers. From April through October, the island welcomes you with open arms. The question is: when will you come to say hello?
3. Saving Money
Early planning isn’t just smart—it saves you money. Many hotels and parties offer discounts and early-bird tickets. Why pay more than you have to?
We’re excited to announce that our last chance to grab EARLY BIRD tickets is in March. Don’t miss out—availability is limited, and once they’re gone, the “real Ibiza prices” kick in.
So don’t say we didn’t warn you. Plan ahead, secure your spot, and save yourself the hassle (and the extra cost).

Everybody thinks Ibiza is an expensive place, especially during the hot season (from May to October). And yes, that can be true—if you don’t know the right places or plans. But remember the saying: “the best things in life are free.” We couldn’t agree more.
Contrary to what many believe, you can still enjoy Ibiza without spending a fortune. The secret is to choose your plans wisely. From Oceanbeat, here are five free (or very affordable) activities that will make your Ibiza summer unforgettable, even on a tight budget.
1. Dance to the Beat of the Drums in Benirrás
You haven’t truly experienced Ibiza if you haven’t been to the famous “Fiesta de los Tambores” (Drum Party) at Benirrás Beach. This iconic tradition has been celebrated for many years and is one of the island’s most authentic cultural experiences. Feel the rhythm of the drums, soak in the hippie vibe, and watch the sun set over the sea. This magical party usually happens every Sunday.
2. Book Tickets for a Boat Party
Okay, this one isn’t free—but it’s one of the best value-for-money experiences you can have on the island. Oceanbeat offers legendary boat parties with music, drinks, and an incredible vibe for party lovers. Prefer something more relaxed? Our daytime catamaran is perfect for families and those who want to enjoy the sea at a slower pace. Either way, it’s one of the best days you’ll have in Ibiza.
3. Watch the Sunset from Natural Spots
Ibiza’s sunsets are among the most beautiful in the world. Sure, you can watch them from glamorous beach clubs while sipping cocktails—but the truth is you don’t need to spend a cent to enjoy the view. Hidden coves, quiet beaches, and natural lookout points all offer breathtaking scenes. Our recommendation: head to the west coast for the best views. One of the most magical spots? Es Vedrá.
4. Go Trekking or Take an Excursion
Nature and adventure lovers, Ibiza is your island. Beyond the clubs and beaches, it’s full of incredible trails and hidden gems. A top excursion is the hike to Atlantis, a mystical spot with rock formations, hippie carvings, and crystal waters. Just make sure you’re prepared—it’s a tough hike, so bring plenty of water and good shoes. The effort is 100% worth it.
5. Snorkel in Crystal Blue Waters
The Balearic Islands are world-famous for their turquoise waters, and Ibiza is no exception. Snorkeling is one of the most affordable—and magical—ways to explore the island. All you need are goggles and a sense of adventure. Want to take it to the next level? Join our Oceanbeat Daytime Catamaran and snorkel in some of the island’s most unique and hidden spots.
See? Ibiza doesn’t have to drain your wallet. With these budget-friendly plans, you can live the true Ibiza experience without breaking the bank.
Planning a trip to Ibiza in September? Don’t think twice! While any time of the year is great to visit the White Island, September is truly the best month to do it. Book your tickets now and get ready for unforgettable holidays in paradise.
Here are the top reasons why experts recommend traveling to Ibiza in September:
Less Tourism But Still Fun
September is still lively in Ibiza, but you’ll find fewer tourists compared to July and August. This means every shop, beach club, and nightclub remains open—while prices drop a little. Plus, you won’t face big crowds at beaches or restaurants. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
The Most Original DJ Sets and Parties
September’s lineup is always one of the strongest of the season.
On one hand, many of the first closing parties take place in September (the rest usually follow in October). For example:
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Garden of Madness at Ushuaïa on September 19th.
BIG by David Guetta at Ushuaïa on September 24th.
On the other hand, some exclusive one-off events happen only in September. This year, Bicep will play with Solomun on September 30th—his only Ibiza appearance this summer. If you love electronic music, you can’t miss it!
Better Deals on Accommodation
Even though rental prices are becoming more regulated, Ibiza can still be expensive. But in September, you’ll find much better offers. It’s also a chance to finally stay in that dream hotel you couldn’t afford in peak season.
The Best Weather
In September, the sun is still shining, but the heat is often a little softer than in July and August. Ibiza’s weather usually stays great until October or even November, but if you want to enjoy perfect beach days and summer vibes, September is the safest bet.
A Perfect Month for Families
If you’re planning a family trip, September is a much better choice than July or August. You’ll avoid the intense crowds and still enjoy the full summer atmosphere.
September is also ideal for group getaways with friends who want a more balanced experience—relaxation during the day, and great nightlife in the evening.
Family-friendly activities include the Oceanbeat Daytime Catamaran, a full-day cruise with paella, drinks, and stunning island views. And if you’re more into partying, don’t miss the chance to join the Oceanbeat Boat Party, perfectly timed with some of the best closing parties of the season.
September offers the best of both worlds—amazing weather, fewer crowds, better prices, and some of the most iconic events on the island. If Ibiza is on your mind, September is the month to make it happen!
Welcome to the mystical world of Es Vedrà, the small rocky island off the southwest coast of Ibiza that captivates visitors with its enigmatic presence and legendary tales. A beacon of mystery and a magnet for mythologists, Es Vedrà is shrouded in stories that range from the magical to the mysterious. Join us as we delve into the myths, legends, and allure of this iconic islet, including an intriguing prophecy by Nostradamus.
The Magnetic Enigma of Es Vedrà
Es Vedrà is often cited as one of the most magnetic spots on earth, second only to the Bermuda Triangle in its navigational disturbances. Pilots and sailors have reported their compasses spinning wildly when passing by, and tales of electronic equipment failing add to the island's mystique. Whether these anomalies are due to a concentration of minerals or something more mystical, the effect on navigational instruments is a well-documented puzzle.
Atlantis: The Lost City Connection
One of the most captivating legends associated with Es Vedrà is that it is the tip of the sunken civilization of Atlantis. This myth is bolstered by the discovery of unusual rock formations underwater that resemble ancient ruins, seen during diving expeditions around the island. These structures fuel the imagination and connect Ibiza to one of the most enduring legends of a lost ancient world.
The Homeric Connection: The Island of the Sirens
Es Vedrà is also reputed to be the home of the sirens in Homer’s epic, "The Odyssey." These mythical creatures, known for luring sailors to their doom with their enchanting voices, are said to have resided here, and Es Vedrà is often pointed to as the island of the sirens that Odysseus encountered on his journey. The haunting beauty and eerie silence of Es Vedrà give credence to this ancient tale, making it a place of mythological pilgrimage.
Nostradamus and the Future of Ibiza
The allure of Es Vedrà reaches even into the realm of prophecy. The famed seer Nostradamus is said to have predicted that the island of Ibiza would be the final refuge on earth during cataclysmic events. According to interpretations of his quatrains, Ibiza’s unique position in the Mediterranean and its spiritual energy, particularly around Es Vedrà, make it a safe haven during global turmoil. This prophecy adds a layer of intrigue and a sense of destiny to the island, drawing those who are fascinated by apocalyptic legends.
UFO Sightings and Otherworldly Phenomena
The mystery of Es Vedrà extends beyond natural and mythological explanations into the realm of the extraterrestrial. Numerous UFO sightings have been reported in the skies above the islet, leading some to believe that Es Vedrà might be a beacon or a gateway for alien visitors. These accounts add an exciting layer of modern myth to the already rich tapestry of legends surrounding the island.
A Spiritual Sanctuary
Despite—or perhaps because of—its mysterious reputation, Es Vedrà is considered a spiritual sanctuary by many. Visitors and locals alike are drawn to its shores for meditation and yoga, seeking the peace and powerful energy said to emanate from the rock. The islet's untouched natural beauty enhances its reputation as a place of healing and reflection.
Wrap-Up:
Es Vedrà is more than just a rock; it's a repository of myths, mysteries, and wonder. Whether you’re a history buff, a paranormal enthusiast, or a seeker of spiritual solace, Es Vedrà offers a unique and compelling experience. A visit to this enigmatic islet promises not just breathtaking views but a journey into the heart of Ibiza’s most enduring legends. Remember, the true magic of Es Vedrà is not just in the stories told but in the mysteries still unsolved.

Welcome to Ibiza, where sun-kissed beaches, world-famous clubs, and breathtaking sunsets await! If it's your first time on the island, knowing the best way to get around is key to unlocking every magical moment. From party-ready buses to scenic boat rides, here’s the ultimate guide to navigating Ibiza like a pro.
Taxis – The Fastest Way to Get Around Ibiza’s official taxis are easy to spot with their green lights and blue number plates. They’re metered, so no haggling over fares! While they’re the fastest way to get from A to B, finding one in peak season—especially at the airport or outside clubs—can be tricky. Pro tip: avoid unlicensed “pirate & fake taxis" to stay safe and avoid overpaying.
The Disco Bus – The Ultimate Party Shuttle
Coming to Ibiza for the nightlife? Then you NEED to hop on the Disco Bus! Running all night between major clubs and resorts, it’s the most fun way to travel, meet fellow partygoers, and save cash on taxis. Think of it as the pre-party before the real party even starts!
Car Rentals – Ultimate: Freedom to Explore
Renting a car in Ibiza lets you explore at your own pace—secret beaches, cliffside viewpoints, and hidden villages are all within reach. However, parking in Ibiza Town and San Antonio can be a nightmare, so choose wisely. If you do rent, opt for full insurance (those narrow roads can be tricky).
There is a boat trip to Formentera directly from the marina in San Antonio. However, it does take much longer than the ferries from Ibiza Town.
Scooters & Mopeds – Zip Through Ibiza Like a LocalFor a fun, fast, and fuel-efficient way to explore, rent a scooter. It’s the perfect way to beat traffic and get to those Instagram-worthy beach spots before the crowds. Just don’t forget your helmet and always drive safely!
Public Buses – The Budget-Friendly Way
If you're wondering how to get around on Ibiza without spending too much, public buses are
your answer. They connect major towns, beaches, and attractions at a fraction of taxi prices.
While schedules can be limited, they’re a great way to soak in the island’s beauty without
breaking the bank.
Bicycles – Eco-Friendly & Scenic
Ibiza isn’t just about clubbing; it’s also home to gorgeous nature trails and coastal roads perfect for cycling. If you're up for an active adventure, rent a bike and discover the island’s hidden gems at your own pace. Bonus: it’s great for the environment too!
Boats – The Most Breathtaking Way to TravelWhen in Ibiza, why not explore by sea? There are always two options:
The Classic Ferry: Budget-friendly and reliable, companies like Aqua Bus offer a simple way to hop between Ibiza and Formentera. Perfect for a quick island-hopping adventure!
Luxury Excursions:
If you want an unforgettable experience, Five Senses Ibiza offers premium boat excursions to Ibiza’s hidden beaches, with crystal-clear swim stops, gourmet food, and drinks included. It’s the ultimate way to explore Ibiza from a whole new perspective.
Final Tips for Getting Around Ibiza Like a Pro:- Book in Advance – Taxis, rental cars, and boat trips get fully booked in peak season. Plan ahead!
- Stay Hydrated – The Ibiza sun is no joke. Keep water on you at all times.
- Respect Local Laws – Whether it’s traffic rules or bike paths, play by the rules to keep things smooth and stress-free.
